In the first week of December 2024, after the successful implementation of the 1st cycle of DIRECTORS workshops – both in Croatia and in the Netherlands – our international team gathered in Zagreb, Croatia, for two days of extensive discussion about the lessons learned and future steps to be implemented in the 2nd cycle, in spring 2025.
We discussed our overall impressions of the implemented workshops, which were mainly highly positive. We analyzed the feedback from teachers and pupils, gathered our own experiences and insights; we discussed the highlights observed and improvements which should be made for the next cycle implementation. We also used this time to discuss opportunities for publishing the insights and lessons learned from our current experience, by publishing conference papers and journal papers.
In the following months, we will be improving our workshop lesson plans and teaching materials, to get ready for the 2nd cycle of the workshops, again in Croatian and Dutch schools. Which ones? Stay tuned!
